Business Law with The Clare Foundation
Earlier this September Stephanie Kleyman, Managing Director of Kleyman Co. Solicitors, spoke at The Clare Foundation about business law and it’s effect on charities. The seminar saw various Buckinghamshire charities come together to understand the laws charities must sill abide to, and how this could affect them. Examples of this include understanding what the obligations are under the Data Protection Act, and what a charities terms of business should cover.
Stephanie said “It was a huge pleasure to give my business law for charities presentation to such an engaging and well informed group, who were as interested in listening to me, as they were in listening to each other, and in sharing their own experiences for all of our benefits. I look forward to doing many more talks for The Clare Foundation and hope that these will continue to be of benefit to all, including me!”
11 different Buckinghamshire charities attended the session at The Clare Foundation.
Martin Gallagher, CEO of The Clare Foundation, said “Stephanie brings a unique blend of legal and practical knowledge and experience of the charity sector. I was delighted when she mentioned that she’s like to support us here at the TCF and help with out Pro Bono Series which was delivered recently to great feedback. Business Law for those who missed we will be planning another seminar in early Spring 2017. Watch this space and our Eventbrite updates for other exciting seminars.” He continued to add “A big warm thanks to Stephanie from all here at TCF”
