The Clare Foundation is a charity helping other charities become more commercial and efficient by practising 'Charity Excellence'.
The Foundation takes established commercial methods, business expertise and entrepreneurism to the voluntary sector through training, mentoring, sharing best practice and networking at its 'Charity Hub' in Buckinghamshire.
The Clare Foundation's Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mike Clare, was interviewed recently by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum and Bucks TV. Please see videos of the interviews below.
The Foundation acquired the Saunderton Estate, which is now a 'charity hub' - a centre of 'Charity Excellence' - for local charities based in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. The 50,000 ft² office complex, set in 12 acres of beautiful Chiltern countryside, has been refurbished to provide flexible serviced office accommodation for charities at subsidised rates. The excellent onsite Conference and Function facilities used by ‘hub’ tenants are also available to local charities at preferential rates and can now be hired by commercial organisations.
